I ordered chicken dinner with voodoo hot and thousand dipping and side menu pulled pork. Pork wasn’t good. Chicken was good and I love voodoo hot sauce. Only one thing I didn’t like too salty.

Good food & great music in the background. We were the only 2 there, 3pm on a Wednesday, bet this place gets packed on weekends! Good value for money, we'll definitely be back!
Ordered: 1. Gumbo with cornbread 2. Fried chicken and shrimp with southern sauce 3. Fried chicken ribs with BBQ sauce 4. Gumbo balls 5. BBQ pulled pork Pretty good feed. Kind staff member.

The Southern Chicken Burger is the best tasting burger I've ever eaten. What's even more impressive is that the standard never drops, it is just as delicious every time. Quality food, served to perfection.

Great music venue. The food is American Southern, mostly brown/fried, but tasty. Saw checkerboard lounge and had a great night.

The first visit, 5 Feb, was a Friday night and the atmosphere was great, with great live music. The place was (safely) "packed" with people enjoying the food and music. The second visit, 7 Feb, was a Sunday evening, and the venue was quiet but a relaxing atmosphere. People were turning up after us (we must've been early). Again, the food was great. I had a different burger each visit. Burgers were made well, with care and flavourful. My patner loved the Po'boys - a different one each visit. Salad was refreshing. Chicken ribs succulent and flavoured well. Well priced food, great quality food, great location.
