This place is a nice spot to grab a few drinks and a good pizza. You can see the kitchen staff prepping and baking the pizzas in a traditional wood-fired oven, and that definitely adds to the ambience and overall experience. Our friends are vegan and they have plenty of options to choose from. There's also a nice selection of wines, beers, and cocktails. We would liked to have seen a bit more of a cozier atmosphere to go with the overall vibe (never a big fan of sports bar TV type deals) but overall its a good spot.
I did not really enjoy my experience here. I had no idea the pizzas here are all individual size. First, the \only\ table available was in front of the entry, so every time the door opened I froze. Then they opened another area when more people came. We ordered three different pizzas and they did not taste very different between them. The crust was good, but they skimp on the toppings big time. Pizzas were expensive for individual size. I have had much better experience with pizza in Frederick at half the price.
Got the mushroom and margherita pizza with jalapeños and pineapple. Dough was soft and delicious. Also ordered affogato and gelato. One of the best coffee desserts I’ve had! Check the place out. Service was quick. Agree with other reviews that pizzas are expensive given they are individual size, however the quality was good.
Very clean and convenient restaurant. They serve large meals and for reasonable rates. We liked the menu very much and the waiters were very welcoming and chatty. Recommended.
