Good food for decent price. Lots of biking and hiking around. I would recommend a nice bike trip and then eat here after.

Family Reunion June 2017 I visited my German Family most of whom I have not seen since 1975 Had an amazing time, Great Food in a beautiful setting
Good food, friendly service despite my weakness in speaking German. We ordered beer and food from the self-service station near the entrance. When our number came up, we simply walked inside to the food counter to pick up our food. Pretty easy system, though not immediately obvious if you don't speak German. Worth the visit, plenty of nearby hiking trails too!
Little english spoken here but were very helpful and patient with the language barrier. Traditional German food served here also. Lovely stop! :)
We ate lunch here today and liked the rustic ambiance, the isolated location in the woods, and the excellent reasonably priced food.
