We loved visiting Piper's Pitch. My partner loved his kipper bun. Being vegan, there wasn't really any choice for me but once I asked what they had I was offered roasted peppers stuffed with rice and mushrooms! It was so refreshing for a cafe to be able to think on their feet and rustle me up something really tasty and different from the standard falafel or humus. Will definitely visit again and I highly recommend you do too

Outstanding! Got a 50p discount from the emergency car park ticket, which made us curious) discount not needed. Excellent ‘hot Craster Kipper in a bun’ and Auctermuchty, excellent reward for a bracing stroll to Dunstanburgh Castle. Great memories & we will be back! Excellent food, safe serving, very well done to the owners

Craster is a pretty little village, Dunstanburgh Castle is really impressive, then when you get back to the car park you see this small haven. Try the Craster kipper bun (after walking past the smokehouse up the road!) and Auchtermuchty (haggis and bacon - match made in heaven). Delicious. Pipers Pitch is a fabulous little cafè, staff very friendly and food delicious. Good prices too (two substantial sandwiches with a tea and a coffee 10.70).
