Start off with the Food - Had a Dare You Burger and have to say at first sight looking at the chilli sauce I’m thinking this isn’t going to spoil it ! Very few places get their chilli sauce right ! Anyway took my first bite and wow just wow the burger was amazing ! It was cooked just perfectly not raw or over cooked just perfect. Service wise again was impeccable - There wasn’t anywhere to sit inside and the owner opened up the shop next door for us to eat in which to be honest he didn’t have to. He’s moving next door in a few weeks. Although I’m not local will definitely be visiting again ! We are a group of friends who love to travel and explore good food and this place defiantly hit the spot for regular returns
Quality food as always. Popped in today as was in the area. Business was extremely busy but gave the time to talk to us. Tried their new retro pops which I highly recommend!
They serve large portions and for fair rates. friendly staff. 5 stars from me.
This is coming from someone who is a REGULAR by the way, or at least used to be. Pinos has, for the most part, always served good quality food, with their burgers being amongst the best in Huddersfield. However, in recent time, management has absolutely jumped off a cliff. The excitement and pride in running this place has died and it's really sad to see. A simple example includes the last few orders I've placed, which have all been late by \10 to 15 mins boss\. If I call up and you tell me my order will be ready in 20 mins, despite knowing you're busy and can't realistically make that time, you have no one to blame but yourself. Especially when you end up taking double that time. I'm not talking about one occasion by the way, there's been multiple... Where service used to be excellent, now you should expect bored looking men jumping in and out of what looks like a cloakroom sized kitchen, frantically trying to stay on top of orders. And no, they still haven't cleaned up/renovated that shoddy, barren looking takeaway. Sort yourself out Pinos. You get 3 stars for still serving decent food. The minute you lose that, you're dead to me.
