Home from home kind of food where the staff all eat the same dishes in front of you after service is over. We had the fish stew which was interestingly with a base of bread, and the meat stew with rice, and of course local wines. The homey food with the welcoming service makes this a great place to eat. We ate on a wine cask shaped table which was very appropriate for this trip.

One star is too much for this place. Cheese and ham platter for 12 euros and they serve you 3 slices of cheese and 3 of ham or the worst quality that costs less than a euro in the supermarket. Chorizo sausage was burnt to the level of impossible to eat and bread was again below average to low quality instead of giving a normal homemade bread. Only decent thing in there was the house wine. Good wine for a reasonable price. I guess they rely on tourists coming in despite the quality and that’s why they’re not even trying

Trap for tourists. I cannot understand why so many stars. The food is just extremely low in quality, seems more something from a cheap discount than from this region of Portugal. Meat burnt, salad floating in oil, the toast is just like an undefined mix of wet ingredients dripping a sort of liquid. Furthermore extremely overpriced. Only the wine is acceptable. The pic is just to give you an idea of what they offer as special ham from this region....a shame for Portugal.

Food was tasty, but the owner try to cheat us. We ordered beef and received pork. When we point it out we realized that it was intended.

Completely agree with the previous review. The place is absolute rubbish. Their ham and cheese platter is just cheap stuff from a supermarket, the sausage was burnt to charcoal and the salad, although using good ingredients, was floating in strange and terrible oil. Do not go

Only safe option is a tosti and a beer or wine. I ordered a sausage and it arrived charred, totally black. Tosti was ok, we were looking for a small bite after some tastings.

Quite the best place to have your lunch at pinhão, don't miss this chance! Even though it's open only 12-15 it's worth a try! Don't misjudge this place, amazing value for price, they won't let you go out unhappy or not full to the limits

One of the best meals we had in Portugal and definitely the best in this area. Great cod cake and pork. Moreover, great wine, desserts and welcoming staff. Highly recommended!
