This place & the owner Pedro is amazing! The hostel is extremely well taken care off, clean & tidy, with great rooms (also private) and an amazing rooftop. Breakfast is lovely and Pedro is so warm & welcoming, you instantly feel at home. He will tell you everything about Pinhao and the surrounding area; the best guide in town!! If you go to Pinhão, don’t look any further; this is the place to stay! Thanks again Pedro for an amazing time!!

I can’t imagine a better host than Pedro is! From the first moment until the end, I felt so welcome and very comfortable! The warm, attentive, courteous and generous hospitality is amazing! The hostel is a beautiful oasis of well-being with attention to detail! Everything is very clean, well-equipped and tastefully designed. Freshly squeezed orange juice and lemons from the trees in the beautiful garden, a wonderful terrace with a amazing view, a barbeque with the delicious meat from the best butcher….to name just a few things that made my stay the crowning conclusion of my 9 month trip! There couldn’t have been a better one and a better place to complete my time out. I can’t thank you enough Pedro! I sincerely wish you that you’ll have a full house again soon, after this difficult time! From the bottom of my heart, I wish you the very best and hope to visite your small paradise again soon!
The hostel is superb - clean, organised, and with an amazing rooftop. Pedro made us feel very welcome throughout our stay.
The hostel is amazing. Super clean and neat. And Pedro is the most friendly hostel owner I have met. He shared his breakfast and lunch with us. Gave us beers and his own port wine. Me and my friend advise everyone visiting pinhao to come here!
New hostel! Its very neat and perfectly clean and maintained. The owner is a civil engineer so it all runs perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Pedro, the owner, is super kind and welcoming! We had a great experience staying in the hostel and chatting with him, who is also a backpacker so you will always find anything a backpacker might need. Lots of nice surprises like a random ukulele. The hostel has a lovely roof and patio with excellent views of the valley, really fun to sit there and relax. Highly recommended accommodation!
I could not have asked for better for my first stay at a hostel in a very, very long time. Pedro is an extremely gracious, hospitable owner and also the only "employee" - thus very hands-on with every detail of his operation. The amount of work it takes to keep a place running and spotlessly clean as he does did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. It's a LOT! I think he really likes being overworked though :) The space is extremely well done - to me it felt more like a guest house than a hostel. The rooms are cozy, brand new, clean, and the details have been well thought through. The rooftop patio is gorgeous and it was lovely to share an evening up there over port and custard tart with Pedro and other guests. The only minor suggestion I have is for a mirror in the bedroom - to help reduce time spent in the shared bathroom! But everything else was just right. Thank you for opening your space to us!
