Lovely circular walk - just over 7 miles from Stow Bedon carpark. Walk down the Pingo Trail and along the Peddars Way to Thompson Water and then back through the woods and across the common. Great walk away from the traffic. Highly recommended

Lovely trail, just watch the mud in winter
Lovely day 17 Sept for a circular walk using Pingo Trail and part of the Peddars. Bright sunshine bought out the best of the tree colours. Major downside was being eaten alive by truly voracious mossies, everywhere near water and damp areas. Apply loads of Veet and cover up! Chequers at Thompson advertised on their site to be open for food n drink. They were not, though publican drinking outside with others(family?). Right off my list! Our party of three dropped 60 at the Windmill Gt Cressingham. You would think in these hard days for retail in the COVID 19 era, some tiny effort could be made.
Lovely walk, but full of mozzies. Wear longs, and repellant
