Home made pasta. Had veal parmigiana. Thin and breaded. Was really good. Am pleased. Sauce were good too! Had their cannoli. Not home made. Would not order cannoli again yet the dishes n spaghetti was good!
Everytime we visit family in the DMV we visit pines of rome. It's truly a warm amazing family experience. The most delicious Italian food we have come across in our travels. If you haven't gone here, the outside dining and atmosphere alone is worth the trip. No matter your nationality you feel like you are having dinner with la familia, they aren't staff, they are your cousins and we are thankful for every dining experience and take home options.
Amazing fresh Italian dishes prepared from traditional recipes. Fresh Calves Liver and Onions, Fresh Flounder, Fresh Rock Fish, and Freshly caught fish. Escarole and white beans, Pasta Fagoli, Fresh Buffalo milk Mozzarella and Tomato appetizers, plus more. Their White Pizza with Fontina cheese and herbs is out of the world comfort food! We have been enjoying their food since 1972. They have a very large area for special occasions. We can't say enough about Pines of Rome in Bethesda, Maryland
Pines of Rome is my favorite restaurant on the entire planet! My family has been going here for over 40 years and I have been going since I was young enough to remember! The white pizza is to die for it is so amazingly rich and gooey. When I think of pines of Rome I think of family and more than just family, my Italian heritage. You go there for the food and the food makes you feel good. I literally go to pines every time I am in town (I now live in Kentucky). This place is so sentimental to me I will always remember going here with my great grandparents, my grandparents, my parents and I hope one day my child will do the same!
