Discriminated Against : I am disabled, I am on disability, I have a certified service dog, clearly marked as such and highly trained. I walked into this restaurant on Monday 1-04-2021 and was told as soon as I walked in by a man leaning against a pole, saying I know you have a service animal but no dogs allowed. I was shocked and said well I wanted carry out \ BUT \ you can not refuse me service , it's against the law, he is allowed to go wherever I go. He said well since you are getting carry out I will serve you, I said again if I was to sit down you can not refuse me . At this point I was humiliated and felt belittled because of my situation. I will never come back , the place looked tired and old. I will be contacting an attorney because of this discrimination. If this is the type of restaurant you want to spend your money at ,be forewarned. I walked out saying I'm not going to spend my money there. Absolutely disgusting. I won't even say disgusting, it was actually not edible. I was starving too so I basically would have eaten anything. We just picked it up and I opened it up and saw what is pictured in the first image. Literally one piece of meat cut into two small pieces. I was able to fashion together a sandwich half out of both sides of the sandwich, but you can see there still wasn't a good amount of meat for a 11 sandwich (no sides included). Again, at this point I was so hungry I didn't even care that they shorted me on food. When I went to take my first bite I actually thought that I broke my front teeth. The meat in the entire thing was so tough I couldn't actually bite through ANY of the pieces. The last image is my attempt at actually eating it...which failed. Needless to say, it was beyond disappointing. (Also they were really rude to the person who picked it up.)
Food is divine and the woman owner is so pleasant! The tres leche I could eat every day!!!!!
