I phoned the Proprietor this morning and was informed that it's now membership only, and the members book is closed. Quite abrupt woman but I understand that the level of interest would be significant, however by updating the website then the enquiries would stop. Thought I'd save you a phone call. Its closed.
Lovely set of lakes, very peaceful. The top lake (largest) has some absolute stunning carp up to 25lbs maybe 30lbs. Middle lake always has big carp on the surface, it's a shame you can't get around the top side any more as its become overgrown. Never fished on the lake in front of the cottages so cant tell you much about it other than it looks very shallow. Owner always very pleasant and cheerful when he's out walking around. Good parking space and functioning toilet are a bonus.
