A marvelous country pub. One of the best pub meals I have had in a very long time! The serving staff are friendly and attentive. The landlady is a superb cook and the pub has recently redecorated the loos and bar areas. Covid precautions are well in evidence and my friends and I felt secure in the knowledge that safety procedures were being strictly followed. Unlike other pubs, prices seemed not to have increased since the pandemic began. I hope to be visiting again soon.
Extremely good little local - Lovely atmosphere with low ceilings and nice beams and so on, really friendly staff, very good food and beer. I wish we had a pub like this in our village. Had such a nice lunch, thanks!
Lovely pub, friendly staff and great food
Always a great visit to the Pig and Abbot. The steak is always a great choice. The baked potato sublime and the lasagne perfectly cooked. The one thing i'd suggest is for the seats to be a little comfier. Other than this a fantastic experience.
