If I could give this place more stars I would. The food is simple and tasty. Lots of creative sandwiches and burgers, but also few veggie and seafood options. Fried Pickles are a must, so is Nikki's Laua Burger. Now the bonuses comes in a form of the friendly service and if you have kids, their special is a must. Tokens, what tokens? Was our reaction. And low and behold there is a small arcade tucked away in back. Not only you child will be entertained, but also will leave with a small prise. Win win win. Last but not least. The owner, Kelly, thoughtfully offered us additional coffee refill to-go. The Pickle Nickel is likely will be our \apres ski\ destination when skiing in Roundtop.
We were looking for a Solid Burger Stol and the Pickle Nickel delivered. Only a quarter mile off the main highway, stay away from the fast food places and stop at the Pickle Nickel. All Local bought ingredients that are all fresh and cooked to perfection. The people are super nice and the service was excellent. Would definitely stop here again when on the road.
