The worst customer service ever by the assistant branch manager . he has no empathy or no signs of customer service . he spoke to us like he was entitled . I cannot discus the issue here however this is the 2nd time we have a bad experience from this specific branch. Scotia bank in general has been a good bank for us however one financial advisor and the current assistant branch manager are just something else. He really feels entitled.

I've been banking for 15 years in this institution but I experience today "Bad Customer Service Representative". We just want to get a new card because my daughter's card is expired. I know we don't have proper picture ID since we haven't renew our passport yet due to covid but I have my daughter's birth certificate and Ohip for identification. She asked to many questions that my daughter needs to think about coz she barely uses her card since I am the one whose keeping it at the moment. The Lady representative has no patience and rolling her eyes on us. Scotiabank should hire personnel with good attitude, well mannered and educated staff. This will ruin their reputation. No one will trust their institution if all the staff are mean. If I see her again I will report her to the manager of the bank.
It is unfortunate to say that this Institution is one of the most unprofessional and untrustworthy with their services and attitudes! During this time of Covid 19 they are trying to take advantage of their customers who have been with them for over 15 years. My mortgage payments got messed up after I was laid off due to Pandemic Covid 19. Not only they sent to me to a third party collections which turned out to be theirs" Lawyers" demanding payments or else. This third party collection is called Devry Smith Frank LLP showed their utmost unprofessionalism not to mention the threats she gave me that how they will take me to court and send me an eviction letter!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS INSTITUTION. Scotiabank is a FRAUD.
Daniel O. took me in as a client a few months ago when I decided to give Scotiabank Pickering my business. His expert advice made my transition smooth and he explained everything that I had inquired about through and through. I received a phone call from the Branch Manager shortly there after and was welcomed kindly to the branch. After a few months banking with this location I am still 100% satisfied with the service of the staff. Recently I completed a survey detailing my positive experiences and I received a phone call from the Branch Manager again. He kindly thanked me for my ongoing business and is so grateful that I am giving them my business. On the other hand it needs to go the other way...I need to thank THIS TEAM! Thank you for taking care of my finances and providing expert advice and friendly service. I am grateful that you value my business. This branch has a bunch of lazy Joe’s went in on Monday to remove a freeze from a card was informed fax was sent. Called customer service 48 hrs later and was informed branch has not sent in the fax yet. Totally unreliable branch. Called today 10/3/19 was informed issue with the fax it took them 4 days to fax one page document. Come on Scotia Bank Pickering you guys need to get your act together and fix your issues don't be passing the buck on someone else. No accountability or responsibility to customers very poor service
Passed by the branch with a few questions regarding our car loan. Was helped by Marlon who went above and beyond in ensuring our satisfaction! Will definitely be doing my banking here from now on.
The Pickering Branch is my main branch and have not failed me yet. Helpful customer service at the front, knowelgable, and have always addressed my concerns. I’m treated the way branch employees expect to be treated as customers. Nothing less, and it’s appreciated!
Horrible service, they did everything in their power not to cash a cheque from another scotia bank account.
