I’ve had the opportunity to try Hot Plates Catering on multiple different occasions and their food was always so good! I even hired them for my best friend’s birthday party with such little notice and the team pulled through for me. I am so grateful for their professional service, amazing communication skills and their even more amazing food! My personal favourite menu item? Their Jaffna Spice Tots! Hire them for your next event and you won’t regret it!

We hired hot plates for our daughters first birthday party and it was the best decision. The food was amazing. My husband and I are both foodies, and we loved the tacos. Everything on the menu was really good and catered to both vegetarians and non vegetarians. We were lucky enough to have the mini pancake station for dessert and it was a hit!!! I woke up this morning craving the mini pancakes! From the moment I reached out to Pri and team to receive the initial quote to the end of the night, the communication and service was excellent. I would not hesitate to hire hot plates again for any events we have in the future! Thank you guys!!!
One of the best customer services in the industry - followed by amazing bites. Team is very prompt and professional and probably the best Jerk Chicken Poutine we ever had! They catered our venue up to 150 guests and everyone loved it! Thanks again guys.
Highly recommend! We got their poutine station for our baby shower and all our guests loved it. They were easy to communicate with, they were prompt and had everything they needed to set up. Will be using them again in the near future and trying some of their other stations out as well! P.S Their Jerk chicken was bomb!!
We hired Hot Plates Catering for a 1st birthday party and we got amazing service from Day 1. Pri was great to accommodate all of our requests and made sure we need not worry about food on the day of the event. The day of the event went smooth and the staff was great. We highly recommend Hot Plates to all of our friends and family. Great customer service!
Hot Plates was the best decision we made for our wedding after party. We had an intimate event that hosted about 65 people and Hot Plates managed flawlessly. They came in and set up quickly and smoothly and began their service effortlessly. They were extremely fun, kind and professional to work with. Everyone enjoyed their meals; we had ordered burgers and poutines for our event. They added a surprise touch with extra toppings apart from what we paid for. It showed us how they truly cared about how their meals were going to be enjoyed and delivered to everyone there and took extra effort to make our event perfect and enjoyable. Additionally, they are excellent at communicating, whether it was through email or phone; they responded quickly and professionally. We look forward to working with them in the future and trying out all the other food on their menu because our food for our event was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Side note: When I (the bride) went into the kitchen where the burgers were being prepared, I was treated to a delicious burger (which I haven’t eaten in years) and enjoyed so much!! i use Hot plates for the company i work for and they have done nothing but provide wonderful service and great tasting food! We have done a poutine station, Mac and cheese station and french toast station. They are very accommodating! Thank you for everything you guys have done for us to date! :)
I've had the opportunity to try Hot Plates Catering at multiple events and the items offered are delicious! The tacos are my absolute favourite; they marinate their meat to perfection and top it off with their special homemade sauce and coleslaw. Their signature chicken burger is also extremely impressive. The chicken was crisp, flavourful and all the toppings worked together beautifully. Not only is the food amazing, but the service provided by Pri and Suthy is just as exceptional. From the first point of contact, the brothers were in constant communication with us to ensure our needs are being met. It was also very nice to see them engage with our guests as they gave them a brief overview of what the menu entails. The brothers went above and beyond in every aspect in their delivery of service. We will be doing more business with Hot Plates and would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.
