1st time at Dalby forest for years. Loved the walk. Some really steep bits to climb but thoroughly enjoyed our few hours there.

Beautiful woodland trails for both hiking and cycling, moorland walks with stunning vistas and boulders for scrambling, a beck for paddling, Go Ape on the doorstep and a play area for the children. Dalby Forest really does have something for anyone with an appreciation for the outdoors. For just 9 parking you have the whole day to explore, wander and play. There are a multitude of marked trails as well, colour coded for the level of difficulty and with estimated timings on them to help you plan your day. Sadly some people could do with reminding to leave nothing but footprints, and to take their litter home, but fortunately it doesn't seem to be an overwhelming issue, here. Helpful review? Dalby is an amazing place for the whole family to enjoy. We visit the forest on regular bases. We've got a 7year old son, 4 months old daughter and a dog and there is something here for everyone. Our son loves the play areas. He also enjoys playing in the river and riding his MTB bike. The trails are really well looked after and perfect for walking with pram too. We all love going on family bike rides and there are plenty of different routes to choose from. The yearly pass is really worth having as it's only 54. We also loved the Halloween event last year. Great place for the whole family.

Dalby forest is a fantastic place, full of trails to explore on foot or on bike. The kids love it here too. However the visitor centre seems a bit of a wasted opportunity. The cafe is ok (not great but not bad either) and the help desk is, well, helpful. But the shop area is quite a big place without actually selling anything much and the entire upstairs looks attractive from outside but doesn't seem to let the public in so no idea what's there. At least the toilets are open almost always

Been to Dalby with the kids and on solo MTB rides. Love the red route and is a great challenge. Nice to get out with the kids to. Nice play park, restaurant, go-ape (recommend) . Nice just to go for a walk. Great day out for everyone of all ages
