Affordable, good quality ingredients, very tasty for me. I could finish all dishes even though we ordered 8 dishes which are a lot. I love the way the chef can cook a variety of Japanese dishes. He could also cook Okinawa dish (Goya Champuru) , unbelievable, normally you must visit Okinawa restaurant to eat this dish. My Japanese husband confirms that every dish is perfectly cooked, similar to authentic Japanese. This is no doubt because the main chef has been cooking Japanese for 17 years as for the story he friendly told us. We had a wonderful time, talks and great meals. Thanks a lots for your lovely hospitality. Will definitely come back again.

A homie Izakaya located deep in Soi 93 nearby the canal. The decoration might be bit simple at first sight, but you cannot ignore the food and service provided. Very fresh and yummy sashimi and sushi, and lots of other options. The setting, nostalgic Japanese songs. Friendly Chef and waitress can speak conversational Japanese. It all creates good Izakaya experience. The Thai Chef mentioned that he used to work at Dhara Dhevi hotel in Chiangmai, and 7 years in famous Japanese restaurant in Thong lor. The quality of food is very good and assured. You will be surprised for the authentic Japanese dining experience in this neighborhood hidden gem! Note: Maybe because size of the shop, for some menu you need to book in advance, please do check with the owner chef if you are really crave for them. Also if would be more convenient if owner specify in the ads which ones need booking.

Drove there all the way from central Bangkok because of the incredibly high rating. It is a mystery how this place got so many five star reviews. I find this place passable at best. The scallop sashimi, although the thickness of each slice could fluctuate by the factor of about 3 and strangely served with an orange slice, was truly fresh and tasty. Everything else was of very localized taste.

It’s a little slow dish serve, but it’s really worthy. I recommend the assorted sashimi set.
