New Owners, now call \The Battered Cod\. We were staying overnight at Mcr Airport and wanted a fish supper. Found this Chippy on line and confirmed by a phone call that they are within 5 minute walking distance of Gatley Rail Station. Great Scottish cod: fish, chips & mushy peas. Friendly staff. No reservation in awarding 5 stars!!!

This is a great place to go for tasty fish and chips. The prices are not the lowest but good value for the money. Remember cash only!

Lovely fish and chips. We have had different meals from here and all really good. The chips are to die for.
Always great food and good to see them moving away from plastic bags and packaging and replacing with paper and card.
