Long time fan of this place but the food quality has gone down and I am not sure if that is due to Covid but oh my you can tell the difference when ordering something like the fill em up fries, you can tell beyond doubt that the cheese used has been changed. In a sense it taste pretty close to processed compared to the quality before. The mac n cheese in the brisket mac rolls really gave me the confirmation that ingredients had been changed. I am sad to say this, thought this a BBQ joint that knew quality and planed to keep it. But oh well glad to have had it when it was enjoyable, don't make the mistake and go to experience a let down.

Stumbled upon this place and we weren't disappointed! The sweet tea was perfectly thirst quenching. Ordered the Trapp platter w/ 2 meats Brisket & pulled pork w/ mac & cheese side, baked beans & potato salad. Everything was delicious!!! I also ordered the wings because they were a dry rub. Those were also very tastey and cooked to perfection! Only thing I needed was salt & pepper & some crisp bacon for my mac & cheese! Otherwise def recommend!

I'm a huge fan of BBQ, especially independent smokers. I always look forward to seeing what a pitmaster can produce for their customer. The first time I went I was underwhelmed, but understand there can be days where things just aren't right. So I went back with some friends. For my second time, though, it didn't get any better...in fact, it was worse. Low points: Ordered a family platter and they charged me an additional 13 for brisket (2 of 4 meats ordered). When I asked why, they said Covid. Now I smoke my own meat and brisket prices have normalized after a brief spike in prices in Spring/Summer 2020. It is Feb 2021 and that excuse doesn't fly. The pastrami was dry, the portions were tiny even though it was a family platter, and two of the sides were flavorless (Mac and cheese, potato salad). High points: seated quickly. Beans had a pineapple accent that was enjoyable. Ribs were tasty. This was tough to write but I think the owner needs to understand when you drop 100 for three people to eat, they shouldn't walk away unsatisfied.

My 1st time eating her 12-3-2020. 1. Let me start off with they great customer service. 2. Good environment inside. 3.Not really good places to park. 4. Excellent ribs tips sides dishes were good. The cornbread was different but good. The only problem with this visit. I ordered some brisket but it was mostly fat. Still deserve a five-star keep up the great customer service.

Excellent BBQ, nice accompaniment of side dishes and friendly service. We stopped in for lunch on a hunch and we left satisfied. A great stop for a bite in downtown PHX!
