Nice place to walk but during lockdown the trail is pretty busy and it is impossible at times to maintain a safe distance from others

Superb afternoon cycling in the Phoenix Trail from Thame to PR and back. Beautiful sunshine, friendly people and lovely countryside. We parked in central Thame and a short cycle to get on the trail.

Good access point from the road but limited car parking and can get VERY muddy in winter (you might want to pick another access point if you don't have 4WD.

Superb trail, for walking, cycling; family friendly. Clean air, nice scenery.

Walk, run, cycle or ride a horse between Thame and Princes Risborough. The path is reasonably maintained and is car free. In the summer and on weekends it is quite busy. I have seen deer, rabbits, pheasants and red kite.
