Dr Chutkan is The Man! I couldn’t walk for nearly a year before getting referred to him. He was thorough, thoughtful and to the point. I went from walking normally to being on a cane and barely moving to up and at em soon after my surgery! He knows what he’s doing! Strongly recommend. Great bedside manner, doesn’t mess a round. Call him now!

Earlier this year a disc in my lower back herniated and after being discharged from the hospital I was referred to the Core. My first visit astounded me because this location is huge. It's like a mini hospital with a lot of staff, and surprisingly, things seem to move very smoothly here, at least from what I've seen. When I've gone to other large facilities it usually means there's a lot of miscommunication problems because there's so many staff members running around with minimal direction, but that doesn't seem to be a problem here at the Core. The real reason for this review is for me to gush about NP Shuttari. I've never liked a health care provider more. She is absolutely wonderful. She's friendly, she listens, she explains her reasoning, and she's very knowledgeable. Most doctors breeze in through the door, they let you talk for a couple minutes, they make snap decisions, walk out the door five minutes later and leave you feeling confused, frustrated, and neglected. Shuttari really listens. When I had to get an MRI done for another herniated disc in my neck, she went through everything with me when I came in for a follow up to go over the results. She didn't just look at it for five seconds and then talk to me like I psychically knew what was on the screen in front of her only to leave after issuing a larger dose of medication. She showed me and she was more than willing to set me up for physical therapy. I wish I could find the words to describe how much of a relief it is to be in her care, how meaningful it is to walk out without fear and anxiety rumbling through my head because I couldn't get my questions answered or my concerns across. All I can do is say thank you!

Kid had emergency surgery at the hospital the 10 of December 2020. Did better the second time.

In the beginning I felt welcome by the staff and everything. The moment I was done with surgery and doing the physical therapy the staff there no longer was nice to me as well as I can not get an appt to save my life with my doctor. I now wish I never did my surgery through the core. I’m having late complications of the shoulder surgery and they refuse to help me just wants to send me to pain management. I just need to know if something got messed up in my shoulder but nope. Looks like the ER is my only option.

My problem is I canceled surgery yesterday today day before and I keep getting phone calls Appreciate what you did this time I need to follow back up with the G.I. doctor because I’m having severe issues with Gerd and I don’t feel that this is the right time to have surgery maybe in a like a year or two but not at this time I really appreciate it
