The Bridge to Hope Reviews | Rating 4.1 out of 5 stars (6 reviews)

The Bridge to Hope is located in Phoenix, United States on 1815 W Missouri Ave #105. The Bridge to Hope is rated 4.1 out of 5 in the category homeless service in United States. The Bridge to Hope and our volunteers work to improve lives and reverse the devastating and long-term effects of poverty and homelessness among single mothers and their children. Program services are designed to maintain the family by empowering single mothers and enhancing their skills to independently care for their families and integrate into the community. Families turn to The Bridge to Hope for support after experiencing domestic violence, financial crisis or a safe place to turn after recovering from substance abuse. Families are welcomed with open arms by a loving and accepting Christian community. Each family must meet minimal requirements to participate in the program: • Mothers must be willing and able to work full-time – The Bridge to Hope offers each mother training in skills needed to maintain a full-time job and establish a financial savings account, which are essential to financial independence. • Mothers must be drug free prior to entering our housing ministry– The Bridge to Hope operates with this requirement to emphasize commitment to success and to ensure the safety of the children and other families on campus. The Bridge to Hope also provides emergency services, crisis intervention, group and one-to-one counseling, and food and clothing to the families in the program. Believing in the power of compassion, The Bridgeto Hope matches families with volunteer teams for guidance, mentorship and emotional support. Graduation from The Bridge to Hope is an exciting turning point in each family’s life. Single mothers leave the program with a job, a start at creating healthy credit, a savings account, vocational training, and affordable housing resulting in an increased capacity for independently caring for their families. Each family also exits with knowledge of how to utilize community resources. The children who have taken the difficult journey with them also feel safe in a more stable environment.

We can’t out grow God. God is always in front of us giving us hope and new life. I am speaking from a perspective of being a person who is a follower of Jesus and believes that Christ followers are called to walk with one another. We need each other to be a strong community. Bridge to Hope offers the opportunity for growth and new life. As a part of a church that works with B2H it is amazing to see the transformation in families. To hear how they have moved from homelessness to a whole new life. If you are a follower of Jesus or part of a church, check out the many ways you can connect to B2H. I have been so blessed by the relationships formed. The families are gifts from God. They have so much to offer.

There will never be enough words to describe the loving staff and volunteers, the time, the devotion, the dedication, the determination, the selflessness, the transformations, the cycle breaking, the spiritual growth, the independent living skills, the personal transformation of every graduate, the families, and life changing choices that one learns to make through this program that will effect every family for the rest of their lives. But I will say this...as a graduate of this program myself, and having gone through my first 4 months of the program without a sponsored church or church team, it was mighty lonely to the point it was almost defeating. I hope to see many more churches join the Bridge to Hope to help fight homelessness for our youth and give your sponsored family the love and support they may have never had. Don't forget to ask about their needs list :)

This place is not for someone who just got down on their luck financially and just need some support, you can expect to be talked down to by Sally who is very passive aggressive and demising. If you come here to become sober it is not the place to be they place you in a drug infested neighborhood filled with junkies, and homeless people who sleep on your porch. The apartments are infested with mold and roaches absolutely no place to raise children. They will constantly threaten your home over every incident no wonder this place has been open 20 years and still don't have their own facility and barely have any graduates. Please do not go here of you have any type of self worth. This program is supposed to be based off Christ but the director doesn't even go to church and her case manager is evil. I would not stay here if it was the last place on earth
