Had a lovely meal from phoenix and it was lovely meal I normally don't eat Chinese food but since my partner orders us some and the first time I tried it I was in love. The manager Judy is lovely and the staff are welcomeing. I'd definitely dine in once the pandemic is over. We'll worth the money.

Really nice Chinese restaurant we decided to have a take out but to be honest when we went to collect it the place is lovely. Nice and romantic with a really good posh feel to it. We ordered the banquet for 4 and the duck. To be totally honest there was way too much food for us. But all the flavours were there and we would certainly go again thank you
Used to be a regular customer for many years when the Phoenix was extremely good and outside of Chinatown was one of the best. Now it’s terrible. Ordered a take away today and can honestly say it was the worst I’ve experienced. Ma po tofu was half oil and grey tofu with a deeply unpleasant smell; black bean sauce was tasteless; salt and pepper prawns were so tough, dry and overcooked they were impossible to bite through. My wife and I have eaten Chinese food ( we love it) for over 50 years - this doesn’t fall into either category.
Oh what on earth is going on. I think we must be under new management and we're not quite there yet. The service was amateur mainly by young people who clearly hadn't been taught how to wait table's serve the different dishes and be confident in what their doing. If you don't teach people the right way they'll perfect things the wrong way. This used to be a lovely restaurant, but now... I'm not so sure.
I have been coming here for years and would say it is the best Chinese restaurant in Leamington. The food is fantastic. It has changed hands recently as Eddie and family have now moved on but the food is still great, however, at the end of your meal, if you order an Irish coffee beware...
