I can truly say I might not be here today if I had not had OneNTen in my life when I did.
So many resources, wow. The staff? Yes. All of it, yes. I learned so much about myself and the community, and was, really, treated like family. I went to different locations (this was 6 or so years ago, as of a few years ago I’ve definitely “aged out”) and became friends and acquaintances with many fellow trans people, queer people, and artists from all over. I got help with healthcare services, education, HOUSING, financial help, free std testing, counseling, hygiene products, food, clothes, the list goes ON and ON. OUTdoors camp brought me out of a deep depression, as well. Being able to see a world where safety and self-assuredness felt possible, attainable, and non-negotiable at a time when I knew no one, nothing, and had only experienced isolation and worry for my future...I mean, talk about eye opening. I discovered a lot about myself through OneNTen. This place, these people, changed my life. I am so, so incredibly grateful. Thanks y’all :)
