Bad service. Unavailable sides. No utinsels available to eat with. Only plastic spoons. Ordered two dinners. One fried chicken. The other. Smothered chicken. Both were the same. Only difference. One had hot gravy poured on top. Not smothered. Cornbread hard on top. Server unsure about what items were available. While eating curtain rod fell on my friend. No one offered to help. Only a customer. We will not return. Hope they improve there service. Could be much better.

First visit to this classic little restaurant. We were met by a kind woman with a great smile who served us a large serving of juicy fried chicken with a side of delicious fresh cabbage and some black eyed peas that had a nice smoky flavor. Why today? I couldn't make my own black eyed peas this year. I searched and was grateful to find this little historic flavor gem! I can't wait to go back!

First time visiting Mrs White's Cafe. The smothered pork chops were good and the black eyed peas were also great. Mac-Cheese was on point. However, my mother had Collard greens that she didn't eat. She said they were very very salty but the fried fish was good.

This was my first dinner here and it was really good. Great choices and sides, Koolaid was awesome for my drink and the Chicken fried steak was tops! Place has been here in Phoenix for years, not sure why i have never stopped by before... it was yummy. Prices seem high, but when you compair to other restaurants serving the same meal, its dollar for dollar...except this one tastes way better. Will go back now.
