My son was a patient with Jewish Family for about three years most of the time the service was okay but during those years the service went downhill and I would not recommend them for families who don't know much about the behavioral health system because they're not very good at taking you through the process and explaining everything to you. You have to fight very hard for yourself or your family members who have what THEY CALL disabilities mental or physical. Find someone who will understand your personal needs and will help and give you the best care for your needs. Everybody is different from everyone else.

My kids and I have been going to JFCS for a while now. The staff is very nice and helpful both in the behavioral and health areas.
Tricia\ Patricia Kane, social worker, was a well-organized profesional with a family plan, goals, and monitored our progress. Well done job. Worked \in the trenches\ and not easily manipulated; much better than the \court-appointed 'counselor'\ who didn't get to know my children. Wished she could have stayed in our home longer, she was very helpful and appreciated!
I used to work here. They have great clinicians who really care about the kids they serve and the families they help. However, they employ IT professionals who in their personal lives, cyberstalk and ruin the lives of private individuals. I wouldn't review such a matter on JFCS's page but their system software NextGen which is developed by their sister company Topaz (located in the same building) was found on several of my computers and has no business being there. Do beware, the company may not be knowledgeable of such actions by their employees but it is being done, nonetheless.
Worst place to work. No support from supervisors. I got fired for speaking up about it! Plus, was accused of saying n doing things that never happened. A lot of favoritism. If you're a minority that's it for us, we get micromanaged and our work questioned.I feel I was set up for failure. I was humiliated by a Nurse practioner in front of my client and when expressed this to my team lead Jeremy, he tells me theres is nothing that can be done, that others have complained too but that JFCS has turned \deaf\ ears, because it's difficult to find Psychiatrist and/NP's. And I worked over 40 hours a week all last month with no lunch and was told by the supervisor to make sure and adjust my time sheet to reflect only 40hours because JFCS does not pay over time. who wants to work for an agency like this?!
