Delicious! I ordered the spinach enchiladas w/green sauce. SO Good! Big portions (there were 3), I only ate two because I was so full. I was trying my best to eat all of it as it was so good lol. Great and friendly staff

El Jacal has phenomenal food that tastes of the rich southern cuisine that southern Mexico offers its locals. The Chile relleno, enchiladas and chilaquiles are all amazing and often difficult to choose between. The red sauce is deep Chile colorado and the green sauce is a tangy tomatillo sauce just like back home in Mexico. The tortillas are handmade and you notice the difference. The side rice and beans could play as a main dish as they are just incredibly good! The owners work the kitchen so you know the passion and dedication is there. I super recommend this spot! It’s definitely a hidden gem!

Food very good , but the service they were slow, I own a restaurant I never see a service goes to table 6 time if in two mim period and my and other sit here wait
