I like Pho but didn't know there was one in Guildford, so I was very happy to stumble upon it. It's great inside, chilled and spacious and Covid safe. The food was excellent as per usual, the spring rolls were delicious as was the soup. The curries too were highly rated. Open more of these, including one in High Wycombe so I can come more often!
Due to Covid 19 they are very strict on how many people they allow in so, make sure you book in advance. - We showed up unexpectedly one late afternoon last week, and the place was empty yet, we were told that they only take advance bookings. So we booked for lunch the day after. For me it was the first time to taste their cuisine, I loved the variety of dishes they offer and the fact they had a lot to of choices for vegans and vegetarians. Their lotus roots salad was balanced, well seasoned and had a kick of chilly that left you tingling for more. Their drinks were freshly made and the lime, mint & ginger was totally appreciated by us all in the heat. The staff were very attentive and well mannered. Thank you for a good service.
I've been a couple of times, expensive. Once I had the meatballs and they were still frozen. I was the first customer of the day and I guess the meatballs hadn't been taken out to defrost early enough. I sent back the first lot, and the second lot were frozen too. I have no idea how you can get that wrong twice. I might give them another try, if they could get it right it might be worth the price. A 10 bowl of noodles had better be amazing and at that price is a fresh meatball too much to ask?
Fantastic drinks and good food. Portions are adequate and starters are very very good. Relaxed service and polite staff. Recommended during Vivid times for families.
