At Protos, we have always taken pride in our roots, using only our native variety, the Tempranillo, and in 1982 allowing our brand “RIBERA DE DUERO” to be used for the recently established Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Today Protos is the leading winery in Ribera del Duero with 4 wineries in Ribera del Duero D.O. and one in Rueda D.O. and clients in around 100 countries, we continue our international growth with the help of a solid distributor network and in-house staff in the main international markets including the USA, UK, Germany and Asia.
