Lovely place! We went there with our family Easter Sun. Animals look happy, well looked after. Their carers looked happy too enjoying being with them. Tea coffee refreshments were available.
Lovely picnic spot for the family, especially with younger kids, there are always a few dogs running around, on top of the selection of farm animals and birds that are in the actual petting area. Also there is a small park, very small 3/person train ride, icecream van there and a cafe with toilets. Excellent place to go back time and again with the family.
Great little day out for the (younger) kids. You can stroke the goats. & good selection of birds. Rabbits, etc .Fantastic gift shop that is very reasonably priced at the visitor centre. Small park area & large playing field. 2 larger parks Heaton or paddy freeman’s a short walk away.
