Pets at Home Sutton Coldfield

Personal experience tells me this is an ideal place for getting well informed and practical advice on a variety of pets' issues including my fishes. The knowledgeable staff, in particular Lia, helped me out enormously by advising and assisting me to buy suitable fish food whilst I was away on a short holiday. It was literally a last minute stressed stop here and whoa, I came away relieved and . Happy holiday too. Vast range of reasonably priced pet food and accessories as well as a good selection of well cared for pets; supportive and insightful staff; spacious and extremely well ordered/structured layout. Free car parking helps and other positive points highlighted by other reviewers are well substantiated through my own practical experience of many a visit to this 'pet palace'. Only went in to get some food for the pets but picked up a great dog basket. They love it.

PETRIFIED!! Went this afternoon at 3 p.m. there were far too many people in there for the current situation. Many people not in masks, people crowded around everywhere and the puppy dog aisle (the most popular) was where the queue for the till formed. No social distancing in place and nobody policing. Was diabolical! I will now order from Amazon and not risk my life !

It's ok for general pet stuff. Although I have been a few times and they never seem to have had what I'm after in stock. Best for ordering on internet and picking up here. Generally as they cater for all pets they have a little for each type of pet.
