Very helpful staff, went to purchase two guinea pigs, haven't owned guineas before however staff were helpful in giving care information. Cages all a bit small for guineas so i purchased the biggest rabbit cage they had for them for 35 and let them run around the spare room as they please during the day. Staff let us hold the animals to ensure they were the right ones for us and they only sell them in pairs! Good parking area.
Really helpful and friendly staff! Molly was particularly helpful and enthusiastic when helping me sort out my fish tank!

Pets at Home Dorchester carry a wide range of dried pet food, but a very limited range/variety of raw frozen food. They stock mainly products for small to medium dogs .. frustrating for large dog owners. They crowd the corner of every isle with stands or piles of stuff, it reduces space for wheelchairs/buggies to manoeuvre and makes maintaining a social distance more difficult than it should be. Staff are generally friendly and helpful. The lift is frequently out of service .. check if you have booked a frail or old animal into the vets or groom room as access to these facilities are via a long, steep flight of stairs if the lift is out of service.
