I love Sushi and Sashimi. And I loved the Wasabi Bento Bars in Geneva – there are many. I frequently go there (usually more than once a week) to eat or to take away when I have a long train ride ahead. It is only until recently that I noticed that they have a loyalty program. It would have been better not noticing it – or my French is insufficient to understand. First time I asked they pointed at something I didn’t understand nor had I the time to follow up. The second time I understood that I have to apply online. Which I did on the phone (on a side note: their website is dated and during the subscription process there are many options get “spam” mails). The third time I went, they refused it because I had shown the bar code too late (too late being that she already had typed up the dishes while I walked up to her) – so in my case I have to say “fidélité” before “bonjour”. It left a sour feeling – especially observing another customer being told off by one of their staff the night before at another Wasabi Bento Bar. I’d say for a fast-food place the prepared foods are good. Service varies from unfriendly to good, mostly average. Since the prices are not exactly cheap, I do expect more customer-orientation aka friendliness and attention.

Worst Sushi I’ve ever had! I ordered a spicy tuna roll. The sushi was stacked not rolled.... covered in mayo.. Impossible to eat. And.. the waiter was rushing me to order so we can go home. Will not go back.

I am would give it a 3.5 and sometimes 4. Often I take the miso with fried rice with shrimps which comes to around 10 chf and is good food for that price. The place is really next to tram stop and very open. The staff are very friendly. Sometimes the service is not super efficient and the dishes is not an A okay. But also they change it for u if something is wrong with the dish. But i have been there so many times and most of the time I was satisfied.
