SO CHEAP, GREAT SERVICE AND AMAZING COMFORT FOOD. Pete's is nothing if not consistent. Their food is always consistently good, no matter what I or my friends/family get. Consistently great service. Consistently welcoming and comforting. Pete's is your typical diner, but SO much heart and very Denver, with crazy cheap prices. I grew up in Ohio and these prices match, if not beat, cheap local Ohio diner prices. And that is unheard of in Denver, especially this close to downtown. If you are looking for a quick bite, comfort food, cheap food, a local place, a hole in the wall, or all of the above, you need to go to Pete's. And if you aren't looking for any if that, you still need to go to Pete's. My friend and I just went last weekend (these are covid times) and the server was super friendly and fun and when we paid (a different lady) thanked us multiple times for coming out and choosing them for our dinner. Restaurants are struggling right now but the friendliness and humbleness and kindness from the Pete's staff truly shines. Support local. Choose wisely. I can't tell you enough how much I love this restaurant. They've even won multiple awards from 5280 Magazine and I know because their wins are framed on the walls. And they absolutely deserve them.

A month ago I moved a block away from this place. I got takeout even though there were plenty of people dining in. I'm not ready for that. But my takeout was excellent. I think I will be a regular.
Hands down, best diner in Denver. Go for the breakfast burrito supreme or vegetarian omelette, stay for the family-style service. During this time, order delivery, to-go or dine in.
