First time there. The food is excellent! The dry rub was enough..... didn’t need to add any sauces at all (although there are choices on the side to pick from if you desire). The owner and all were super nice and friendly. Small, owner run business... love to eat at places like this. Very careful about distancing, cleanliness and safety protocols. In today’s times we were very comfortable eating there. Will definitely be heading back!

Stopped in for the first time today to see what Pete’s BBQ is all about. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by Pete, the man himself. Pete’s is warm, friendly and inviting. His spiel on his menu was definitely the best :) Their baby back ribs are definitely the best I’ve had in the area! The collard greens were on point to say the least, the fried Mac & cheese was OUTSTANDING , and you definitely have to try the fresh squeezed lemonade. You will not be disappointed! I absolutely recommend to anyone that you stop in, say hello and stay for the ribs! Thanks Pete! We shall be back!!

What an unexpected treat! This is a must visit if your in the area. While walking up to the door... a neighboring business owner sees us and says..\You guys going to Pete's? Make sure you get the Mac N Cheese...it's the bomb\ This is a great sign for my secret Mac n Cheese obsession...lol..thank God it's cheat day. Pete's restaurant comes across as your average good looking bbq joint from the outside. But the moment you walk in the door you know it's anything but average. The smell of slow cooking, spices and kitchen love hit you like a memory of a perfect family dinner. Pete's behind the counter and greets you with a warm hello making sure you know he's seen you and is ready to serve you his finest fresh grub. My wife and I order two rib combos and of course the ... FRIEEEEED MAC N CHEESE? Nobody said it was fried..I nearly loose my mind (Having just recently traveled through North and South Carolina) we are ready to put his Gourmet BBQ to the test. My baby backs were beyond perfect, fall off the bone, flavor packed morsels of awesomeness. The fried Mac n cheese was indeed the bomb and my potatoe salad was pretty great too. My combo second half was chicken and it was some of the best I've had. My wife's spare ribs were equally as fantastic. They also make the sauces in house..all packed with depth and flavor. Pete comes over to check in and we compliment him on his food, the overall ambiance and the wonderful fragrent smell smacking us over and over from the kitchen. He's humble but you can see our opinion means the world to him as all true Chefs do. You can tell he's great at what he does and loves making people happy. Overall one of my favorite BBQ experiences for a small but large flavored local spot. I strongly encourage you to stop in....and PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO ORDER SOME SWEET POTATOE PECAN PIE...its ridiculously perfect.

We stopped by based on the reviews we read and they were spot on. The place is very clean and the food is outstanding! The owner recites all the menu options and there are many. Best BBQ sandwich I ever had. We will definitely return.

Everything was superb. The dry rub on the baby back ribs was peppery and smoky. The baked beans have a great sweetness from some molasses and caramelized onions. Everything is made in house too. Very good!
