Called ahead, ready in less then 10. The steak and cheese is one of the best that I have had in the area. Its juicy, flavorful and the cheese is on point. Served with fries on the side ,with old bay on them. Great local takeout, a must in Bethesda!
Excellent food and value for price. This is a wonderful counter restaurant that makes really good food to order. Have tried a couple of things and each time has been great. The packaging to go is geared to maintain the freshness and taste. Staff is friendly and quick to acknowledge people to quickly get you in and out. High demand items may run out at times. It’s worth a re-visit and to support this local business.
Excellent food, excellent service. Their friendly and welcoming staff will go above what is necessary to assist and provide quality service. Peter's Carryout has a long history of serving people and plenty of return customers known on a first name basis that the staff can recognize from a glance. They have a large variety of great tasting American Comfort Food that is speedily and carefully prepared that can be accompanied by a small variety of refreshing beverages of which to compliment and accompany their meals. Many of my associates eat their once a week and everyone I introduce to it love it. When this pandemic is over it may become crowded and a lot busier than it is, but it would be worth it to fight for a stool at the counter. But for now it's simply carryout, as the name would suggest, with no indoor dining and a capacity limit for those waiting to pick up. Peter's Carryout is definitely a must stop visit for anyone looking to enjoy good American Comfort Food.
I went for the first time today. Can't believe I've lived in town for 8 years without giving it a try. My son wanted a cheese steak, and Google said Peter's is the best around. The sandwich was excellent, as were the fries, rings, a club sandwich, and a Greek salad. Even my mother-in-law enjoyed. Will go back again soon. Support local businesses in these tough times. Can't get more local than Peter's.
