Excellent archeology site. Particularly liked seeing the remains of the 3500 year old wooden causway preserved in the fenland mud, and the reconstructed wattle and daub round house.
First class. A brilliant look at bronze age life. Makes you think and feel proud of our heritage. A very inexpensive yet very informative look back in time. A jewel in the crown site. Highly recommended.
Fascinating place for those with an interest in the past. By far the highlight is the remains of the causeway. Amazing the details left on the wood and the multiple versions created over time, indicating the importance of the area at the time. Plenty of parking. Loads of space for picnics. Very helpful and informative signage. Great couple of hours.
Highly recommended, well worth a visit! There is so my h history here and much more to see than would first appear. Lovely walk too .....
