Absolutely amazing food, place and service with very good price. As for drinks, go for the house wine which is superb. Look no further for lunch or dinner in Peso da Régua.

Fabulous place and a rarely encountered hospitality by the lady owner. Turned out to be our favourite pit stop in Regua, we would go for our coffee in the morning, sweets in the afternoon (choc mousse is to live for and so is the vermicelli cinnamon pudding) and then a glass of wine as a nightcap. It was superbly clean, we were always welcomed with a smile, really, a gem in Regua.
Not super vegetarian friendly but otherwise very friendly and good food that seemed local.
