Haven’t had a night out in so long. Decided to give The Universal Bar ago. Went there last time 8 months ago. Last time I was there the security staff were awful. Well it seems like nothing has changed. The back bar was great. The bar staff was really nice & helpful. But then there is a short women there who is completely rude. No idea why she works there. She clearly hates her job. Then once again the security are terrible. Bullies. I watched with so many people. This use to be a great place. Great atmosphere. But it clearly has lost its touch. The band was terrible too. Watch out for the bouncer with the bald head. He is clearly has mental health issues. Please be careful when you go to this venue.

Drinks and entertainment was good but I wasn’t impressed with the food. The wedges were fine but the pulled beef nachos were not great. The beef was very dry and the nachos were in one lump because the cheese had re-solidified before it got to the table. But, as I mentioned, the entertainment was great and the drinks were nice
