SHAME, SHAME, SHAME Last Friday I attended this venue and was having a good time, until………… Several security persons from Vault Security approached our small group for no apparent reason and requested that we leave the premises. We were not acting in any anti-social manner and had not been causing any trouble at all. I had a fresh drink which had only just been purchased and I asked to either be allowed to finish it before leaving or obtain a refund (reasonable request you would think). Apparently not, because at this instant, a heavy-set female security person lunged at me and forcefully grabbed the drink from my hand and smashed the glass to the ground without any regard for the safety of other patrons. This was a reckless, aggressive and unprovoked attack. We then moved toward the exit as requested and as I was making my way down the stairs a male security person nudged me in the back. I believe this was a deliberate attempt to have me lose my balance to fall down the stairs. This same individual then attempted a foot sweep once off the stairs to again try to have me trip over. These actions were also reckless and unnecessary and could have resulted in serious injury. I hope that management review the footage from the evening and re-assess their security arrangements.

This place never disappoints!! I came on here to leave a good review about my experience from the weekend, but saw how much hate the security have been getting. I have been to this place a few times and hands down the most pleasant security I have ever encountered. Always get greated with a smile, feel welcome and safe. Shout out to the taller female security guard making sure me and my two girl friends got out of the venue and to the taxi rank safely. Have seen her and the rest of the team go above and beyond before, when I know a lot of others wouldn’t. Just wish people understood they don’t have an easy job telling people no when they don’t know themselves when enough is enough. Keep up the good work guys! On another note, sharing a few jugs of Feel Good inc with a few friends on the rooftop with a awesome DJ is the place to be on a weekend.

Very Impressed with The Aviary. I booked a function for my son and he had a great night. Thank you to Natalie for organising everything. Thank you to Travis for doing a great job and a thank you to Anna in security. Everyone was really friendly and extremely helpful.
Had my 21st and was an awesome night. Had no issues and the security and staff were responsive with any concerns and were extremely friendly. Especially Travis and Anna, they were amazing.
The Aviary has such wow factor that we keep coming back. Nothing more perfect than sitting up high with a cocktail on a warm summers night! The staff are all friendly and it has such a relaxed vibe up top. The loveliest rooftop bar in Perth for sure.
Perfect spot for after dinner drinks. We decided to try the espresso martini in a chocolate Easter egg.... So good! Great service and vibes.
