Place was quaint; it is a small place with a shop on the front and the small cafe area behind it. I can't fault the waitress who served us, she was lovely and did her job. Unfortunately, there are two major issues I have with the cafe. Overall, the customer service was rubbish. There was no signage for either wait to be seated or seat yourself. My partner waited at the till for almost 7 min to ask how we order. The older lady who finally answered was not personable at all, her answer was short, \at the table.\ The rest of the service was slow. There were no menus or chalk boards with what food or drinks they offer. We did order hot chocolate with cream, and it came with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips on the side. Disgustingly, the cream had gone off, and we were served with it. After getting the attention of a staff member, which we had to go back up to the counter and wait, our hot chocolate's were remade, but took almost 15 min to get them again. My cup came out with half of it milk foam, and after scoping out the milk foam the hot chocolate tasted water downed. The mini marshmallows and chocolate chips were fine, and even after adding them to the hot chocolate it didn't taste any better. My partner and her mum had visited often the summer of 2017 and had an overall fantastic experience. Now, they both refuse to go back.
Great place to go for berry picking. A nice family day out.
Small farm shop and lovely cafe, staff are very friendly and helpful. Menu has plenty of options and food is great quality. Not sure iif inside is dog friendly but shaded area for parking with dogs.
The cafe here is excellent, the hot drinks are so tasty and the cakes are to die for, not to mention the amazing view out of the big glass windows
