Persimmon

Persimmon is a really nice restaurant with really good food. Will any of the combinations surprise or wow you? Probably not. But, everything is prepared really well and everything tastes good. The portobello and blue cheese ravioli are delicious (could have had another portion). The duck is cooked perfectly and is very tasty. The crab cakes are very good and the sauce is just scrumptious. The molten chocolate cake and the apple crisp are both solid desserts. A lovely glass of Barbera and a strong but tasty cocktail accompanied our meals well. Service was quick and friendly. Outdoor seating is available and it was fun to people watch, though Wisconsin Ave. is by no means picturesque. There is a public parking lot nearby.

I like this restaurant! They have sensational meals, their menu is decent, The chief cook in that place is a professional, I love a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.
