This is not the typical brasserie as you would expect , most of the food in this type of establishment is not fresh, from the freezer or pre-made somewhere outside. French have to learn how to treat customers and tourists with more respect as it is there bread and butter literally in this part of France

Do not go here, bad food and attitude to customers and the manager actually stole my phone!!! we had pizza and salad and both were basic and overpriced, only just edible. We had a civil discussion with the manager about the fact we didn’t want another pizza which we had ordered for take away due to the food not being acceptable and for them to take it off the bill, suddenly he swipes my phone and starts shouting at us to force us to pay. Obviously this is childish and not acceptable behaviour for a restaurant manager! And not a resolution to adult discussion, We called the police, thanks brasserie Balthazar you ruined our day..
Interesting place well appointed modern clean and comfortable, Very busy but the food arrived promptly. The staff were helpful and friendly inspite of being very busy. the food was quite good with large portions, and reasonably priced, we missed happy hour though. My wife and I liked the place so much that we went back the following night. Would recommend
