Very poor layout considering I visited in a lockdown. It forces you to pass through the gifts and clothes when getting to the checkouts. Also items for sale along the narrow approach to the checkouts encouraging people to stop and browse. Would not be comfortable going again until the pandemic is more under control.

My wife and I took my mother to Percy Thrower’s garden centre for lunch. The cafeteria staff went to great lengths to be Covid compliant which (understandably) caused a little delay in being seated and our food being served. The service was friendly and as efficient as the measures allowed. My wife and I both had a bacon, Brie and cranberry panini which was delicious whilst my mother enjoyed her scone with cream and jam. Good value and a pleasant experience.
What a wonderful discovery this garden centre is, very pleasant and seems to have everything for gardens and gardeners indoor and out. A wonderful staff member helped me with getting a couple of great trees, shrub, plants fine gravel for wet garden areas was given some great advice. Thank you
Excellent set up. Plenty to do and is a jewel in Shrewsbury’s places to visit. Top notch for Gardner’s and the retail areas offer lots of bargains. The eateries are divine. You must visit 10/10!
Percy Trowers was always one of our favourite gardening place. Now we have a little pond too, so we go even more often
