Stall starts at 1pm even though they were ready around 12:30pm. Serve food at your table. Soup is good but a little too salty for me. The ingredients are good @4.50 per bowl. Wish they use number tag to prevent making ppl having to queue.

Great Evening having beers and great Chinese dishes! Beers going for 6 long necks for just 20! Love the value and convenience of the location. Next to Chinatown MRT,public transport and ample parking (don't drink and drive)!

Authentic and great food at good prices. Haven’t had such a nice version of Wu xiang for a while. Highly recommended. -1 star due to lack of seats

People's Park or People's Park Food Centre is located in the heart of Chinatown and next to the People's Park Complex and OG Department Store, and easily accessible via the underground Chinatown MRT ststion Address 32 New Market Rd, Singapore 050032 People's Park is a must visit for locals and tourists for the wide range of good local eateries, retail shops, fruits stalls, etc.. There's also clothing/garment accessories and tailor shops on the 2nd floor. Popular with the local Chinese as well as the China expats/residents here for the wide variety of authentic native Chinese cuisine and street food, there's a hugh outdoor seating area especially if you are going for bbq food, hotpot, mala xiang guo, etc.. Another feast of Chinese style mala fish, Xiao long bao, 红油抄手 and finally I tried the 肉夹馍!! Mala fish I think I bought from a different stall than last time. This stall has a fish shaped metal pot for the fish. I'll try another stall next time. Was good but okay only. Xiao long bao was good but skin was a bit thick. But definitely better than the one in Chinatown complex (that was terrible; filling tasted sweet and floury). I will give 红油抄手 a miss from this stall. Gravy was too watery and wantons were bit soggy. 肉夹馍 I like. It's like a Chinese hamburger. Chopped up minced fatty pork with some cucumber julienne inside a toasted Chinese bun. The bun was toasted nicely and has a bite to it while the pork inside was fatty and juicy. It was quite a big bun for 4. The size was as big as a McSpicy? Maybe. Lol. Got it from the stall that sells cold noodles along the stretch of the mala fish stalls. There are also other stalls selling this surrounding People's Park, apart from the main food centre.

If you want to eat authentic chinese food, zi char dishes and chinese dessert, you have to come to Chinatown. All the hawker centers located in chinatown are simply the best. I tried the popular ri hong mala xiang guo with my friends and it was great. Will surely come back here. If you walk all the way down to the end of the food court, you will see a small dessert station sell the best tong shui dessert with reasonable price!!

Lots of delicious options - you'll be spoilt for choice. One of my favourites is this dumpling stall. They are generous with the filling and the dumplings are always fried on order and served piping hot. Ideal snack for anytime of the day!

Fav mala place in Chinatown. Very cheap fr such generous portion! There’s always a queue but don’t worry they move fast! Very efficient as well - you place your order and make your payment then you collect from behind. Our usual order will always consist of a side of fried dumplings from another stall across the collection point. Also, best paired w tsing tao beer to cool off hehe :p
