A beautiful traditional Cornish holiday cottage! I stay here regularly and always look forward to my visits. The cottage is atop a hill close to the coast and surrounded by fields, leaving it with incredible panoramic views (pink sunset is taken standing in the front garden). It’s a thirty minute walk to the local shop and pubs, or five in the car if you don’t feel like the walk. Various local amenities but the nearby Portheras beach is a must to visit when staying here (photos of beach are taken there). The house itself is very traditional and rustic feeling, but is always warm and quiet giving you a lovely escape, and with 7 beds it’s great for groups large or small. A great place in total - I would definitely recommend a stay!

Without question the best place on earth. Tranquility and peace, away from all the hustle and bustle of every day life. I've been coming here since before I was born and nowhere makes me feel quite as at home as I do here.

This beautiful traditional Cornish cottage is the perfect summer getaway! It could comfortably sleep six, with all the facilities you could need onsite for cooking, washing and heating. It's surrounded by a nature reserve, half an hour's walk from the nearest shop, and a short drive to nearby beaches, Penzance or St Ives. Watch your car driving up to it - you want to take the path leading up from Carne Farm rather than the one recommended on Google Maps - and I'd imagine this is not the place to come for a winter getaway, but once the weather is nice and the sun is out, I can't think of a better place to spend a holiday.
