Went here last night to get our takeaway fish and chips for our last night of caravanning at Pentewan Sands and the fish and chips were so good! The batter on the fish was lovely and light, the chips were delicious (the best we have had in years) and the portions were generous too. We would definitely recommend getting a takeaway from here, we will be back next time we stay.

We stopped in for fish and chips. The food was excellent (the batter was perfectly light and crispy) and the restaurant area was clean and fresh. The order system with buzzers makes the wait far less boring as you can have a wander whilst waiting.
Sorry but our takeaway was just horrible! I ordered a fish cake which arrived burnt and tasted disgusting. The rest of our group had fish and chips and they couldn't eat the fish because of its awful taste. The chips were a cross between old and new. I have given 1 star as the food was warm. Won't be returning.
Absolutely dreadful you get stale chips amongst the fresh ones which I can put up with but this is the last time I spend my money in this place wish I could show the photo I took, fish and chips the fish was just about edible but the chips disgusting burned watery stale my other half took them back and they would not refund the money for the chips saying there's nothing wrong with them, well I have taken this further. a few people on site have also have had the same issue with the same problem so it's not me being picky.
Have not updated their website to say they are NOT open only that it’s take away only, as most places are durning the lock down exit. Don’t waste your time walking out! Please keep your customers informed!
