Lovely farm shop next to the Penshaw Monument. Luxury cakes from the bakery, fresh bread and pies. You could certainly roll out of the door if you trued them all! The butchers had a good selection of meats, sausages, bacon and condiments. Clean and at the time covid friendly queues. Tea rooms and toilets clean and inviting. Add to this the country park Next door and it all makes for a great visit. Well worth a visit.

Cafe seating area closed but have sating in the polly tunnels, very friendly staff, brilliant on social distancing measures, scones very nice homemade too... and only 1.00 ... cuppers nice not bad priced. Bought chicken and leek pie ooh to die for but expensive Fab hanging baskets and plants to buy prices canny xx Will return
Amazing cakes and outstanding pies - the lamb and mint pie is really good, and portion sizes to fill when the biggest appetite - the only issue is having to decide what to have! Will be back again in the future that's for sure.
It's an excellent place to eat or even have a coffee. Unfortunately its closed due to lockdown but will go as soon as it's open. Well worth a visit x
Beautiful tea room, bakery/cake shop. The cakes are amazing and I love that you have the option to sit inside, outside or outside under a shelter. They have been great at maintaining social distancing and making customers feel safe during this worrying time. A lovely place to visit. You can pick up some plants while you're there, too.
