I can't wait to move out of this housing. Repairs take months if they make the repair at all. It's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. But at least they make sure every cuts they're grass. I just got a notice today January 27 because I have a tiny green patch, they prefer it to just be dirt.

Housing is pretty nice here. The home you get as an O1 is way nicer than you will get out in town for the cost. Would 100% live here again. Had a couple small issues when I first moved in that maintenance fixed within 2 or 3 days after I put in the request to fix it. I do not get everyones issue. If you actually maintain your home and not expect housing to fix every small issue you have, very decent place to live.

The Navy needs to find a way to get rid of this company asap. I got so tired of adding things to the list of repairs that i just stopped adding them. Our neighbor has been waiting for them to fix one of her broken kitchen lights for a month. Really, the worst part is the fact that they have a government contract until 2050... not good. When pressed on why the wait times for repairs are so long, they claim they only have four techs working on hundreds of homes - to that I say this: 1. Hire more people you cheap bastards 2. If you actually fixed everything in a home before a new family is stationed at NAS you wouldn't have so many calls... duh? Balfour needs to realize that the home that service member is living in could very well be the last home of their lives. I am embarrassed for them actually. Avoid base housing in Pensacola if possible until Balfour is removed or they get new management; preferably management that have all served in the military. If you already live here then please take the time to let the Navy know that Balfour is not doing a good enough job - if no one complains then nothing will change. From now on I am giving Balfour one week to repair something, if it's not done then I am just going to do the repairs myself and send Balfour the bill for time/money. They won't pay of course but it's more ammo to get rid of them permanently.

We just moved back Stateside from being stationed in Japan. We moved into Balfour at Corry Station in Pensacola, Fl. We moved in late June just before the holiday. Within one week of moving in we had problems with water bugs it took two weeks to send out someone to spray and the first time it did no good. The lights in the kitchen went out, we were using the light over the sink just to see when cooking it took three weeks to fix. Cheap Floor vinyl tore in kitchen still not fixed part was reported around stove on move in date inspection sheet. The maintenace tore the other due to putting in a refrig replacement. Garage door stop working took a week. Refrigerator was not cooling properly it was reported. They came out said seal need to ordered and we never heard from them- two weeks later refrigerator stopped working. We lost money on produce. Just waking up one morning and thought my eyes were deceiving me, i saw a small mice in our bedroom near closet. I screamed and the mice ran under bathroom cabinet. It was fixed the next day. I called and reported it and the lady i spoke with had a nonchalant attitude about our issues saying when we called she was on her lunch break and how people talk to her is how she talk to them. I said maam i am terrified of rodents and maintenace are delinquent on everything or never show up. Stove oven went out three days ago have not heard from anybody. This is the worst military maintenance line i have ever encountered with my husband being in for 18 years. It is not worth the headache. As many said before, they get your money and thats it. All are issues were and have been reported. For what we pay -definitely would not reCommend here. DON'T COME HERE!!!!
