Parked here for our day out on Helvellyn. What a beautiful day. Sun out and the walk up Helvellyn and back was fantastic. Definitely be back to do again.

Beautiful area, information centre with leaflets on some of the places to visit by boat and also walks to keep you moving.

Visited in May. Top tips - Use the tree lines on each side as a frame to capture a shot . This is an excellent place to take landscape and nature photography.
